False start for Bush speech, blamed on network pool feed
Edited on Mon May-15-06 09:30 PM by cal04
US President George W Bush's nationally televised speech on immigration got off to a false start when footage was accidentally broadcast of him rehearsing the address.

Just minutes before Mr Bush was to begin speaking from the White House, CNN television aired several seconds of the President sitting behind his desk practising his speech.

CNN quickly cut away and its anchor blamed the incident on a network pool feed which "inadvertently" went on the air while the President was polishing his lines. The network returned minutes later for the presidential address.

Update: CNN just sent me an email with a document saying that:"NBC stage manager has now admitted he cued the president early and CNN was the only network ready to go."

3. Remember the "I feel GOOD!" moment in the pre-Iraq invasion speech?
This farce of an administration is a curse on the planet.

12. I'll never forget the petulant little fuck-wad making funny eyes for....
...the camera when he is about to order a war that will cause the death of, at least, thousands of people.
