DO NOT IMPEACH BUSH!
Please God, do not impeach him. That'd be the last thing I'd want.

Think about it...would you have Bush running the country...

...or the far-right wing IDIOT, known as DICK CHENEY. The man that could single handedly destroy our country if given the shot.

keep * in line and most of all, weak. If Bush is ever empowered again (shudder) he will make things even worse.

15. Easy Solution. Impeach Them Both
Then we'd have President Nancy Pelosi.
I'd be OK with that, but I have a feeling that the idea scares the hell out of Congresswoman Pelosi.

28. IF that were to happen ....
I think that Nancy would serve out the rest of *'s term and then return to congress. She would also pick a VP that would be our '08 nominee.

2. Impeachment is your civic duty, citizen.
Hell, Cheney's probably going to be impeached first, anyway.

4. And give us Condi "Wild" Rice? GREAT IDEA!
There's nobody in there I trust. I'd rather just stick it out with Bush who, since he is the dumbest, is the least of a threat.

7. Spend a little time at Wikipedia, friend. Nancy Pelosi will be next...
...in line after the Big Dick. As that moran Alexander Haig learned, the Secretary of State is a lot further down the line of succession.

8. Actually Dennis Hastert is next in the line of succession
unless you mean that Condi would replace Cheney first, which is not all that far out.

Hence, Speaker Pelosi.

11. That's ridiculous and cowardly.
They're fucking traitors. Impeachment is only a single step in their removal, and it's one we must pursue. The timing is important, and we need to be sure we have our evidence in order, but I wouldn't be surprised if the entire administration ends up in court.

When someone asks you to choose between a guy punching you and a guy stabbing you, the best option isn't the guy punching you. It's neither.

As a matter of fact, if that ghoul Cheney DOES survive, you think he'll be able to govern? Hell no. It'll be the end of the Republicon Party as we know it. IMPEACHMENT?

Bring it on.

6. Cheney is already running the country, so there's no "loss" by booting
the shrub. Just drags Cheney out into the open and embarrasses the Repubs. It's all good, but we do see this sentiment expressed here ("whatever you do, DON'T IMPEACH BUSH!").

I'd say, go ahead and throw us into that briar patch, Br'er Bear!

10. I may have screwed up if I didn't welcome you to DU in an earlier post,
Jason, so let me take my foot from my mouth and bid you a warm welcome.

On Cheney: You bet. He's a monster. A lizard. An evil Michelin Man. We'd have to impeach both of them, really. Dubya's as incompetent as Cheney is evil, and the country's in bad shape having people like that at the control panels.

13. If you look at Dick's voting record, it's horrendous.
There is no justifiable reason for him to have voted AGAINST creating a Department of Education, AGAINST the Clean Air and Water Act, AGAINST banning "cop killer bullets", AGAINST Creating a MLK Day, AGAINST a Proposal requesting the freeing of Nelson Mandela from Prison, etc...
