Ignore the spokesman. They are only told what to say. LOL!

is having a pattern of saying what he has to back down on almost immediately. Keep it Corallo, you're good for our cause.

7. Thanks, sweetie!
I tried to find the clip I saw on cspan when he vehemently denied that Livingston would resign. I remember I laughed at that when a couple of days later he did. I also remember the pompous and arrogant attitude he had when he said it!

Since when do WH aides get their own spokespeople?

15. He and his PR company were hired by Rove to spin for him
Edited on Tue May-16-06 09:57 AM by Spazito
Here is a little tidbit I found that was written when Corallo being hired was just a rumor:

A GOP source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the information, told The Fix that Rove is putting together a public relations strategy to cope with the media crush in the event that he is indicted by special counsel Patrick Fitzgerald. Mark Corallo, a former Justice Department spokesman under then Attorney General John Ashcroft, will be part of the effort, according to a person familiar with the planning. Corallo previously worked on Capitol Hill as a mouthpiece for the House Government Reform Committee and for former Rep. Bob Livingston (R-La.). Corallo now has his own public relations firm and, according to one Hill Republican, is seen as an expert in crisis communications.

Edited to correct grammatical error.

21. LOL, yep, the repubs are good at re-defining words
It is, interesting, though, according to Karl, all is well in his world, he's workin', workin' hard, workin' out and the bush cabal is "doing a heck of a job". Now, if Karl is telling the truth, why in the world would he need so-called "experts in crisis communications"?

16. Regarding Mr. Corallo ....
I believe he was hired last fall as the "crisis manager" for Rove. At the time, Karl was anticipating being indicted along with I. Liar Libby. DUers will recall that both men were said to be prepared to resign immediately if indicted. Then, several days before the indictment of Scooter, the press began reporting that Rove might take an unpaid leave, rather than resign.

After Luskin misrepresented the Vivica Novak business, and postponed Rove's karmic debt to the nation, Mr. Corallo did not have any crisis to manage publicly. That has changed. With the current crisis brewing, his job is one of public perception management. He has resources available that allow him to manipulate on a level that would stun the general public, were they aware of what the machine is doing.

For many of those who are generally aware of the perception management that is politely known as the "corporate media," it can still be confusing. What is real? What is a lie? Who can be trusted? Who can't?

A hint: trust nothing that comes from Mr. Corallo's mouth. Nothing.

Anybody affiliated with Bush is corrupt.

(I know that's an extreme statement, but I do believe it.)
