Gimme a break.

Considering the repukes' history of deceit, it seems to me that the only rational conclusion is the whole thing was a slick publicity stunt, coordinated by and with Herr Alito's "coaches" and brilliantly timed for the evening news.

To give any of them the benefit of the doubt strikes me as unwise, to say the least. I'm disappointed to see the "poor Mrs. Alito" campaign being waged so strenuously here on DU. I would have thought people here would be more wary of being punk'd like this by now.
