Are Fundamentalists going to agree to biometric ID's?

I really think a significant number of them are going to be squeemish about how this looks in terms of their own interpretation of prophesy. Are they willing to risk those Rature tickets that this isn't "The Mark"?

7. No, they will be vehemently against them.

My sister, formerly the quintessential pub, is a fundamentalist who voted for Kerry. They discuss this implanted ID stuff and have been doing so for years. Mark of the beast.

A fundamentalist minister friend, who also voted for Kerry after being a life-long pub, will scream her way to Washington if they propose this.

Oddly enough, I think it will be the fundamentalist base, that repubs have to at least pay lip service to, who will prevent this.
