So, who thought up Shrubs immigration plan, since NOBODY is
happy with it? I think we all know HE didn't think of it himself, so I wonder whos going to be leaving the admin soon for THIS screwup?

3. The problem is that when you try to make people
happy who pretty much want opposite things, it's hard.

Anyway my guess is that corporate america was largely happy with it, since they continue to get cheap labor.

Pretend to guard the borders and make some token moves toward accountability for employers. Guest workers rather than citizenship--that's to protect the GOP vote.
