Briton 'gang-raped by Italian sports stars'

"An investigation is under way after a tourist from London said she was gang-raped by five members of an Italian basketball team.
The 29-year-old woman was attacked just hours after arriving in Italy on holiday with a female friend.

Police said the woman befriended one of the players who took her back to his hotel room where he allegedly raped her with four other players. The five are being held in a police station at Alghero, on the island of Sardinia, while the victim is recovering in her hotel. "
