2. Did you read today's oped in the NYT?

Someone did an experiment where he asked someone to send a package to another person around the world--and the only constraints were, he could only send the package to someone he knew, who in turn could only send the package to someone he knew, etc, etc.

Turns out the average to get the package to the ultimate addressee is six transfers. The average really is six degrees of separation.
