Which Networks Aired Dem Response to * Speech?
Moreover, the network did not air the Democratic response given by Sen. Richard J. Durbin (D-IL) minutes after the conclusion of Bush's address. Fox News also aired Bush's speech but ignored Durbin's comments, as did ABC, CBS, and NBC. By contrast, both MSNBC and PBS broadcast the Democratic response in its entirety.

1. Equal time is a concept for pussies
And the manly men at Fox, ABC, CBS and NBC don't eat quiche, buddy.

2. Was Keith O. anchoring the speech that night?
I noticed that he seemed to be the one in charge for the night and that Tweety, who normally hosts these sort of events, was pushed to the sidelines. If Keith hadn't been anchoring, I doubt even MSNBC would've broadcasted the Democratic response.

3. Did you notice Tweety didn't want to shut up
when Olbermann was cutting away for the Dem response?

4. What was funnier was when Keith had to cut him off.
:P Tweety is so use to blabbing through these sort of things that I think it cut him down a few notches by not being in the spotlight.

Keith ran it like a true anchor and it was a smart move on MSNMB's part to let him control the night.

5. It was his hour--Monkey cut into his show
Tweety came on to do commentary in response to KO's questions.

MSNBC aired the rebuttal, though Tweety had to be cut off to go to the response.

6. Bush's speech was too vapid to warrant a response.
