Don't leave the Democratic Party--work like hell to throw the traitors out
Clean up our house of the repub-lites and warmongers, then we will have a party to proud of.
The Democratic Party is OUR party.
There are millions of us and only a handful of them.
If they allow this vermin to go to SCOTUS unchecked, they are the ones that will have to go, not me.

1. The DLC would have to go
there is no way to clean up the Party without booting the DLC.

5. Maybe we all join the republican party
and destroy them from within.

You'd have to shower a lot, but it might be worth it.

7. The DLC should have been cut out like the cancer it is in 2001.
Now it may be too late. If the usual DLC suspects confirm Scalito, then there's no options left for the Democratic party, cancer free or not. :(

They will have the Courts. They have Congress. They have the media. They have Diebold.

What is left to fight the fascism with?

4. No, the Democratic Party is THEIR party.
They have the money, they have the access, they are collecting the checks from the lobbyists. We're mere citizens, and we have no say in this. Short of...well, you know. Smile...the NSA is watching.

DLC rot has contaminated the party to the point that one has to wonder whether it could possibly be salvaged.

15. "Work like Hell"......
What do you think most of here have been doing, some of us for 20 or more years? I gave up six months of weekends in 2004 to register voters in the most economically depressed areas in my state, many times in pouring down rain and freezing temperatures. I rarely missed a meet up, I passed out flyers door to door, I made phone calls, wrote letters til I thought my hand would fall off and hand delivered yard signs to over 80 homes.
Now it's time for the dems that many of us worked so hard to elect, to stand up and show us they have a spine. I'm picking up on some frustration here today and I, for one, get it. I'm tired of all my hard work being taken for granted and the dem candidates just assuming we'll be back every two, four or six years to break or backs and bank accounts to get them re-elected, especially after some of the bone head votes they've cast in our name.
Why don't some of you just let us have a little rant today, I think we're entitled.

18. FDR, Kennedy were realists. They were also progressives. Dems
need their big tent back. For sure the neocons would love it if you handed them the moderates.
