2 MORE Republicans leave the party behind!!

Today I was in a little jewelry store where a friend of mine works. I was being helped by another lady because my friend was off today. She looks at me and says.."Oh yeah, you're Elsa's friend!" I said, "Yup, I'm the Liberal." She says, "That's right, you're the person my mother HATES!"

To explain that comment...my friend and this girl talk politics at work all the time (they both HATE the psycho) and my friend, Elsa, feeds information that I feed her from DU. :7 This girl goes home to her repuke mother and passes on the info to her. The repuke mother said one day, "Well, where did you get THAT RIDICULOUS information?" and she told her she got it from Elsa at work. So repuke mom says, "Well, where does Elsa get that RIDICULOUS information?" and she told her mom Elsa gets the information from her friend, ME! :7 :rofl: Then repuke mom wants to know where I get MY information. So, I guess repuke mom HATES me. YAY!

So, we're talking and this girl tells me her mom hates me (the lady doesn't even know me) and she said, "But you know what? My mom now HATES Bush too!" She also said she rubs her mother's face in everything Bush does now and it REALLY ticks her off. :7 Then she told me when she was a little girl her bathtub TOYS were REPUBLICAN rubber/plastic toys! I said, "Then your parents must have been VERY involved in the republican party?" She said, "Yes, they worked for the repukes every election." She then said BOTH of her parents DETEST the PSYCHO now and BOTH voted for him!

During this conversation an older woman was standing behind me and said, "Oh, you guys must be talking about "the president" (she rolls her eyes and shakes her head) and said, "what's his name again? I keep wanting to say President Clinton." (Kinda funny, but SAD that she didn't know the POTUS name?) She said she couldn't stand the Psycho either!

Here, in one tiny little store were 3 people plus the girl's parents = 5 people who HATED the psycho!:bounce:

Today was a VERY encouraging day for me. From what my friend tells me about this repuke mother of her co-worker, she WORSHIPED the very ground the PSYCHO walked on. In fact, the girl in the store said on election day her mom told her she was a TRAITOR to her country and UNPATRIOTIC for voting for John Kerry. Now the woman HATES the psycho!:rofl::rofl::rofl:

3. And They Ain't Comin' Back

Last Sunday we had dinner at my sister-in-laws...in her in-laws had voted for booooosh in 2000 and were all set to vote for the bastidge again last year until there was a bit of "family intervention" by several of us. Slowly during the election, we showed how corrupt this regime was and how they were being lied to and taken advantage of. Farenheit 911 was the final straw for them as they voted for Kerry and joined the land of the enlightened.

Last Sunday, as usual, the topic turned to politics, and this time it was one large booosh bash-fest. Al...whose in his 70s...who now claims to be an Independent was leading the bashing...and his wife...who used to admonish us about having "respect for the preznit", took a bunch of shots at him for how boooosh puts the large corporation and the rich ahead of this nation's best interests. We just sat back and admired our handiwork.

It's so easy to play sanctimonious when you talk with those who have seen the light...and that's the wrong way to be. I sure wouldn't like to have what I did wrong put in front of my face...instead, it's like teaching a three year old not to make messes...reward and praise when things are done, said right...to be re-affirmation for their new mindset and not stick their faces in it. Not only does it make them feel better about the change they've made, but opens the door to opening minds on making positive, progressive changes for this country.
