Bush Predicts Gulf Coast Building Boom (yahoo news)
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060112/ap_on_go_pr_wh/bush

Anyone notice a pattern with these clowns? Something breaks and they profit. Perhaps they even let things break, in order to profit. Patriot Act, Iraq/Halliburton, look at W's job history. They always profit even from disaster.

The good news is that the next few hurricane seasons appear to be capable of approaching Katrina dimensions. Just let them sweep over an area and then you can Halliburton it, and pay locals less than minimum wage to rebuild their own city. Sweet!

Remember, hard work, like torture, is what happens to people other than BushCo.

1. What an oracle.
No profit in prevention, but recovery, especially in the confusion right after an unmitigated catastrophe...

4. I don't think NO will ever
see any of that 1.4 bil Bush is promising them. If you ask me Halliburton won't have time for Iraq anymore. They will be too busy rebuilding NO with Gov. contracts.

7. The last sentence says it all....
before returning to Washington Thursday night, Bush planned to attend a Republican National Committee fundraiser at the sprawling oceanfront estate of Dwight Schar in Palm Beach, Fla. Schar is CEO of NVR Homes, a major homebuilder and mortgage banking company, and co-owner of the Washington Redskins football team. He raised more than $200,000 for Bush's re-election campaign.

I suppose Bush will be rewarding him with a ton of home building contracts and allowing him to handle all the mortgage applications that might come through.
