The militarization of all intel under the DoD
comments/re: Hayden Confirmation - if confirmed

Notice how Chertoff, particularly, uses the word 'domestic intelligence' in the CIA. Rumsfeld, effectively, does the same thing. Both have lobbied for the removal of remaining restrictions, which, under this Regime, have already been watered down anyway."

"The CIA now has what's called a back-door mandate, given to it effectively by Patriot II, into domestic intelligence. All it needs to do now to get around the so-called 'Chinese Wall' that exists between the CIA and domestic intelligence operations is to find a 'foreign connection' to anything in the United States. And they effectively have a back door then."

"The plan for the militarization of the CIA and its intelligence functions would be to ultimately roll it into the Pentagon.

"The CIA, NSA, DIA - there will be no delineation.

"They will all be One Happy Family under the DoD roof.

"This will be the consolidation of intelligence under military power."
