you're missing some pretty good stuff! IMO, his nightly jabs are no small part of the reason the general public is beginning to slowly become aware of just what is squatting in the people's house in DC.

Sometimes comedy is a powerful weapon to bring issues to the people that look at newscasts, papers, etc as bad-tasting medicine that they absolutely refuse to taste (like the Smothers Brothers, in my day! LOL!).

I tuned out for years, but now - I'm back. I suspect fatherhood has given him a perspective he lacked before. He seems to be more aware of what is being left for the kids coming up - hell, he has even punked the admin on global warming!
