Another reason we can't have another extremist appointment - NEW ORLEANS
Edited on Thu Jan-12-06 07:55 PM by shance
Just heard a caller on the Majority Report and what we expected this Administration and others involved is happening in the big Easy.

The Katrina profiteers are circling in and are seizing peoples'homes down there and yanking property away from people THAT BELONGS TO THEM.

If we have another Justice like Alito......Americans are SCREWED in any rights they will have over their property, especially in the convenient occurence of a "natural" disaster.

So just say New Orleans to people that don't care that much about this appointment!! DO they want their property yanked? It will be all the easier with one more bigoted extremist on the bench.

People may bring up that Souters and Ginsberg voted for Eminent Domain....they were also forced into consideration by Orrin Hatch and Bill Clintons suggestions were not considered.

WE MUST SAY NO WAY TO ALITO OR ANY OTHER EXTREMIST JUSTICE. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

1. You are so right about that. Alito has shown his corporate bias all
too well. He does not deserve more power or we will all be treated like the poor people of New Orleans!
