umm...seems to me the enviroment only got touched on last election-Kerry tried many times but it got drowned out (with the help of the media).

We have to get through 3 hurricane seasons before the 2008 election.

Last year we had 2, nearly 3 Category 5 hurricanes. (historically cat 5's happen once a decade). Australia had 2 this last seasons.

Global Warming is going to become a front issue, whether people want to accept it or not. And Al Gore has been consistent on this all along.
