Bush- Decider or Divider?

United, we stand. Like speaking one language. One is more unified than say two. Isn't it? English versus English AND Spanish. But in fact, it's divisive. A leader in a democracy isn't there to decide. That's for the people. That's what democracy means. The Decider is a Divider. You're with us or with the terrorists. Whoever "us" is. That one left me in no-man's land, since I'm neither "us" nor a terrorist. I'm in limbo in America. Didn't Hitler try this experiment already? Gays, Jews, gypsies, drug addicts? And look where that ended up. Hitler was a divider too. In the name of unity. One race. Blonde, blue eyed, Aryan.

Unity means embracing our differences. After all, even blonde, blue eyed people are not really the same.

What I mean is that the conservative agenda only sees the surface. Body versus spirit is what I mean. And what I mean is that America is in spiritual poverty. Our fuhrer only sees the obvious. But the spirit is not obvious. It is not a flag. I can burn a flag and America survives. I can sing the Anthem in another language, and America is not threatened. Because of spirit. America IS spirit. WE are spirit.

Divided we fall.
