What are YOU going to do to dissuade people from the NeoCON
Edited on Sat May-20-06 11:14 AM by wake.up.america
line of thinking? What are You going to do prevent another catastrophe of a government such as America has had the last 6 years? What are You going to do to turn down the rhetoric and bring sanity back into America? What are You going to do to create a safer, greener future for our children?

1. I am going to ....
educate as many as I can about neoconservatives and their agenda. I am also going to stress the fact that prior to 911 this group was viewed as radically nuts and they now control all aspects of our government. Pretty scary in and of itself.

2.  We also need to educate people on how to think, not just what to think.

3. Agreed, but ...
I truly think there are some who will always be content with just being told what to think. My rw sister inlaw is one of those folks. She admits freely that these things just don't interest her so she won't expend any energies into them. She prefers to get her opinions from her rw father because she respects him and trusts his jugdement. She is extremely lazy when it comes to educating herself in order to form a reasonable opinion, therefore I don't think I will ever be able to change how she thinks. For some reason I still continue to try.
