5. As a copy editor, I should have seen that coming.
"As a woman, he admired her."

Have you seen my misplaced modifier?

9. He's also a good man
He's one of the best presidents we've had in recent years. He helped many people in this country and the world, his policies came from his own concern for others. That's the mark of a good person.

11. He's a good man - better than most I've met
I'm not going to be parsed out of my feeling that he is a very good man.

He's a good politician because he's a good hearted person.

4. The worst crime Bush has committed is stealing the future
When you see Big Dog you are reminded of the path we were on and how our country could be preparing itself and its youth for an outstanding future. Instead, 5 years later we are captured by fear and hatred external and internal. Our future has been mortgaged and our kids saddled with debt and their key to greatness - education - has been compromised at every turn.
Yep, that is what I think about when I see Clinton. The theft of the future.

14. Ahh, but IF he had been a "good" man
Bush wouldn't be president. If he had not fooled around with Monica, Gore would have won the 2000 election with such a margin the fiasco in FL would have been moot. Sometimes great men are not good men.

16. Bill is human
just like the rest of us. He has his weaknesses and faults just like the rest of us. BUT what he does have over * and his whole cabal, is a GOOD HEART. That is something that cannot be faked. His Presidency came from the heart and people across the world could see it.

Excuse me now, this makes me feel like crying.

18. Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow
Don't you think the last line of the last episode of West Wing -- when former President Bartlett looks out the window and tells Abby he's "thinking about tomorrow" -- was an echo of what Big Bill has left us?

Don't stop thinking about tomorrow.
