22. I hope Nagin pulls it out....
I don't know anything about either of them, but I remember hearing Nagin one day on TV when he went off on the reporters with something like "NO MORE DAMNED INTERVIEWS! GET US SOME HELP DAMMIT"!! or something to that effect. I liked his no BS attitude then, but thats all I know about him.. know even less about Landrieau.

Sometimes you do have to go with a gut feeling.

32. then you are on the wrong site, this is DEMOCRATIC underground
nagin is the republican candidate

as a practical matter all candidates for new orleans mayor register as democrats but nagin is a life long republican who endorsed * and jindal

he killed this city as dead as anyone else

landrieu is the lifelong democrat from a family of lifelong democrats

there isn't even any choice at all

if nagin wins, it is a triumph for *co and a tragedy for every person killed and who will be killed in the future

nagin's NEW hurricane plan is NO shelter of last resort for ANYONE AT ALL

what part of "I dont know much about him except for one little blurb I happened to catch on a TV one day" didn't you catch? Sorry, I've been involved in too much real life problems to worry about how candidates register in a state that I'll never live in and won't affect my life any. I hardly ever watch TV, and when I do, it's not the talking heads on the news stations. My only political concern is how to get this criminal regime out of the White House and out of power. I fear for the future of my kids, whom I do not want growing up in the dictatorship that our great Country is headed towards.

Thanks for the enlightenment though, that's exactly why I'm here... to learn what's going on around the rest of our Nation.

28. I think wwltv seems more accurate, it is reporting a higher
percentage reporting than wdsu. It is odd though, the figures at 33% reporting were in almost exact reverse with Nagin showing leading on wdsu and Landrieu leading on wwltv. Interesting.

36. Anyone know if the absentee ballots are in these figures?
Nagin could get a big boost from absentee ballots which are supposedly mostly black. About 25,000 absentee ballots cast, supposedly 2/3 to 3/4 black.

Nagin should not be re-elected. Much of the blame for Katrina is on his head. Plus, he's a jerk.
