Looking For Some Original Artist Sketches..(For A Parkinson's Tattoo)Help!

This is the wife of SS, AutumnMist. Sorry but I am high jacking his name for a few while he works on the computers in our office (including mine). :) Almost two weeks ago I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. To all the people that sent good vibes and prayer...Thank you. I shed many happy tears that night. You have no idea how much it meant to me, it will be something that I will never forget. Thank you, thank you, thank you! After my diagnoses I decided that I wanted to get a tattoo. The idea of a tattoo is not new for me, just the subject matter. I have looked all over the internet (and books) and have not found what I was really looking for.

So...I thought maybe I could ask for some sketches from the fine artists on DU. I am a artist myself, but with the shaking in my right hand I cant do what I want at this time. I am willing to pay (email SS with what you think is fair) for the sketch I choose. I would like two auburn haired fairies (my daughter and I both have the same shade of auburn), one an adult fairy and one a child. Maybe holding hands? Maybe sitting on "my" lap? And I would like the little fairy to be holding a cowboy hat. I know this may sound strange to some...but my husband never goes without his black cowboy hat. It would represent all three of us. I just wanted something as a good luck charm, a talisman so to speak for our trials ahead. I hope I am not being a pain or unreasonable. Its not my intention..honestly. Thank you once again for all of your support. I am online sporadically at this point. But I promise you will hear from myself or SS regardless. :grouphug: edit to clarify title.

23. there is a fabulous tatoo artist here in Houston--

"Tiger John"...who is very well known for 2 things: fabulous, timeless Celtic designs AND "knowing exactly where to place the tatoo " so it's shown at it's best advantage and flatters the bearer--evidently placement, even a few cm's, is critical (fyi I don't like tats myself but his work is GORGEOUS, & he's married to a friend of mine.)

The description you gave painted a beautiful picture in my mind. I love tattoos that hold so much story and personal meaning. So much better than picking a picture off a wall and seeing your same tattoo on some stranger some day. :)
