mad as hell and giving away a t-shirt
We're looking for suggestions for a slogan, a saying, a phrase, or even a quotation that encapsulates the sheer anger and frustration we're feeling right now. Our entire democracy has been coopted and stolen by the Republican cabal and we just have to take things back NOW.We're looking for a perfect phrase that will fire people up, get people to take action, become a catchword/phrase for the new revolution that we really really need to bring about. It has to be something that will easily fit on t-shirts, bumper stickers, buttons, etc. Because I believe in democratic principles, I will post submitted suggestions in the February issue of the Scarebaby newsletter for people to vote on.

We'll give a "Dumb and Dumber" (Bush Sr and Bush Jr) value t-shirt to the top vote getter. In addition, we will most likely make t-shirts, etc that have the phrase on them. This is not a contest or sweepstakes. It's a friendly request for suggestions. No legaleze required. We will not copyright your phrase or prevent you or anyone else from using it, but at the same time, we will make no payment of royalties or other compensation for the use of any phrase that is suggested to us.

That's it in a nutshell. Suggestions can be sent to scarebabysuggestions@yahoo.com or sign up for the Scarebaby newsletter for details coming in the January 17 issue. (You can always unsubscribe right away.) To subscribe, go to www.cafepress.com/scarebaby and scroll all the way to the bottom right.

Remember - keep it short, URGENT, motivating and specific to the Bush regime.

I'm sorry to be reposting this - I posted it in the lounge earlier but I think it got lost...

9. not in my name
That one keeps bouncing off my brain lately -- insult to injury. It's bad enough that we're in this economic and military mess. It's worse that, since I'm an American, it's being done with my tax dollars and in my name.

xeroxed-looking picture of a head shot of bush (facing right) imposed kinda faded-like over the white house (as in floating above the WH) with " its worse than you think" in thick black letters below.

12. Another one... this one might sound a little crude.
The silhouette of ** zipping up his pants, and beside him Themis, the greek goddess of justice, very battered.
