4. Is Cramer respectable?
Edited on Thu Jan-12-06 09:44 PM by tuvor
In my dot-com "glory days" way back around aught-zero I worked for a stock-oriented website that was in some competition with theStreet, and we looked at them with some disdain, naturally. Bias aside, I do recall that Cramer could be something of a nut, although it's been so long I honestly can't recall more than that.

I take it he's well-respected these days?

5. He is to me anyway

I doubt the street likes him much, but I have done rather well following along in his "general" path. Of course... there is no substitute for doing your own homework and yes.. he is often wrong. All disclaimers aside, the market moves everyday after his show... so FWIW.. if Diabold tanks I only hope I have can get a bunch of Put options or a short position (worst case) soon.
