Gore advisor in WSJ: "I know for a fact he's thinking of running"
This is from a few weeks ago and I missed it...thought I'd share it with you all.

***************************

"I do know that he's thinking about it. I know for a fact," a former adviser says. "He's talked to people about the pros and cons."

Among those said to be pushing Mr. Gore are billionaire venture capitalist and high-tech entrepreneur John Doerr and Laurie David, a global-warming activist and producer of the film, and wife of "Seinfeld" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" creator Larry David. "When people see this movie, I know they're going to see the real Al Gore, and they're going to demand that he run," Ms. David says.'

snip

"Mr. Gore has begun assembling a Nashville, Tenn.-based operation to help with the demands on his time. He has hired longtime friend and top aide Roy Neel to head the office..."

2. I hope he does and that he keeps sounding the way he has for
the past 4 years. In other words, I do hope he's learned his lesson and will say "no thanks, fellas" to the DLC hacks who ruined his 2000 campaign.

The only way to get folks to vote for an alternative is to offer them one.

7. My money's on yes
Of course he's saying no now, he doesn't want the DLC establishment to kill him off before he's even started. But my guess is that when '08 gets closer, he'll start singing a different tune.
