What should George Bush be the most afraid of?
What is it that the man and his followers and handlers fear most? And how can we use this to our advantage?

1. bush** personally? To have it be blatantly plain that he's failed yet
again. He's not the big shot hero he sees himself as being.

The rest of the corrupt administration? Trials for either war crimes or treason for lying to the people of this country and diminishing its status to that of a third world country.

3. Very good question. Find their weak spot and push hard.
And that weak spot my friend is money, money, money.
That is their Achilles heel. The only language they talk.
Power is second.

Find a way to hit them in their wallets.

I'd also like to make them watch endless videos of the death and carnage they have wrought in Iraq. I do not think it will matter to them however.

8. To him, WE are the terrorists.
We are the greatest threat, and always have been. Like Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz", she didn't know that she had the power to defeat the wicked witch of the west and go back home all along.

7. Losing the ability to be believed and liked by:
1. 95% of the American public, including a majority of his base.
2. the republican leadership,
3. the republican House and Senate,
4. the media(including condemnation by Katie Couric, Tim Russert, and Tweety),
5. the Religious Right (Jerry Falwell sadly admits that he was "taken in"),
6. the corporatists,
7. anyone else

9. Well, I used to think that exposure would be what they'd fear...
but now I see that the populace is sufficiently anesthetized by the boob tube not to react to their most egregious excesses.

I used to think they'd be afraid of being voted out of office, but I fear that computer jiggering might allow them to keep their fingers on the trigger no matter what we think..

A furious populace and a disabled noise machine...

They are most afraid of losing their megaphone.

24. Junior's karmic debt is massive, however...
he would never conceive of it, would never allow the possibility to enter his mind. In the blackest depths of his shriveled soul, Dubya truly believes that God Himself will bow down before him and welcome him into paradise when he finally shuffles off this mortal coil. Yes.

14. Two things that would work: take their money, constant public humiliation.
Edited on Mon May-22-06 05:46 AM by cassiepriam
To get to Cheney, attack Halliburton big time. Get that $100 million away from Cheney and his smart mouthed spoiled kid. Continue to humiliate her and Cheney constantly. He is in very poor health and it won't take much to push him over the edge. She is quite vulnerable as well in certain areas. Use that.

Bush is much easier, he is deeply insecure and psychotic. Won't take much to make him crack. Give him constant public humiliation a la Colbert. Constant public anti bush displays of a very personal nature. Attack his man hood. Ask why his daughters are not fighting, why they are drunk and promiscuous like he is/was. He is very very vulnerable in these areas.

Continue the drip drip drip by Fitz. Mounting legal woes and bills.

Absolutely must start impeachment proceedings and make it public and humiliating. (To hell with Edwards, where was his concern for the American people during the Clinton impeachment. And what about all the people dying in Iraq? Is he concerned about that?)

Also for Bush, he is very dependent upon his caretakers, start attacking Rove even harder, and the Bush mommy group. Get them away from him and isolate him. Work on Laura as well. If she cracks, Bush is sunk.

I could go on and on. This is a great thread, I agree with the idea 100%. And if my tactics are not so nice, I am sorry but I am trying to save lives. If I had some political power it would be take no prisoner time. I would get as Rovian as they come. God help me.

17. IMHO, there isn't much we personally can do to bring on "the scandal."
Edited on Mon May-22-06 06:42 AM by BlueIris
Or facilitate its development to our advantage. Although if it helps you, I'm quite certain it's going to break any day now. I'll be the voice of dissent in this thread, and post that it's something most of us haven't heard about yet, or is such a radical new twist on an "older," "known" scandal that it makes that scandal look like an iceberg we've barely seen the tip of up until whatever's coming arrives to shock us. That's been the rumor in certain parts of blogworld for a while, anyway. Chill, hon. I know it's frustrating, but this will take care of itself. Evil will out. Concentrate on supporting our '06 candidates, and picking out your favorite guy or gal for the '08 primaries.

Edited on Mon May-22-06 06:52 AM by HamdenRice
And it won't be about pods or missing planes. It will be about the clear ties between the hijackers, bin Laden, Pakistan's intelligence services, the neo-cons in the Defense Dept and Security Council, and the Bush family.

If this is generally known and accepted by the public, there will be lynch mobs in the streets of DC, and they won't be nice pacifist progressive Democrats like us.

26. Being blown up by a suicide bomber!
Now that he has caused the hatred of the entire Muslim world to be directed against him personally, I'd have thought that it's only a matter of time before he is killed after he leaves office. He is currently protected from being approached by any real, unvetted people by a small army of security personnel everywhere he goes. I don't imagine that will be possible when he becomes a private citizen again. I wonder if he realises yet that he will effectively be a prisoner in whatever fortified compound he scuttles off to in 2008!!

27. Spiders, Sharks, and Zombies
Spiders are fine until you walk right into one of their webs and then you know there is like a 50% chance the damn thing is crawling all over you and you don't know how big it is so you flip out and are paranoid of every itch you have for like the next half hour.

Sharks suck, they say they don't specifically hunt humans but I know better. My theory is when you're in murky water there is a shark about 10 feet away circling you about to attack but you always get out right before he goes for it.

Zombies, zombies suck. They just go around eating people and causing general chaos and disorder. I really doubt the Bush administration would know how to deal with a level 3 zombie outbreak.
