I wish I hadn't seen this thread, because I tuned in and wanted to punch the TV :)

It was basically an equal amount of calls, but they added in a last caller at the end. He started off by saying some nonsense about how he was thrilled that she was fighting this fight, so I turned it.

Of course the people that support a ban on gay marriage had little to offer. I even heard one of them bring up the argument, "well what if someone wants to marry their favorite pet?" Damn idiots.

One person called the lady out on being a bigot, and she acted like she was offended, and said it was dangerous that "the other side" tries to label us as bigots. Needless to say, she didn't point out that SHE is the one trying to prevent members of our society from having equal rights. The people fighting for same-sex marriage aren't trying to deny heterosexuals any rights. So the "anger" from same-sex marriage supporters is justified, in my opinion.

I would have loved to call in and point out how foolish they all sounded, but I didn't see any numbers listed the whole interview (maybe they took the callers ahead of time?).
