Well the album has been out for a while and we've all had opportunity to get a copy and listen to it a few times. I have been playing it a lot and I really think it's great.

Guessing that a lot of people will favor the "Impeach the President" song, just because of the title and subject.

So besides that, what's your favorite?

So far I'm really grooving on the "Don't Need No More Lies" song, which is actually called "Restless Consumer"

1. "Lookin' for a Leader" is rather catchy.
...I just have reservations about the reference to Colin Powell, however, that does server Neil as being non-partisan in intent.

Up until the WMD speech before the UN, I tended to like Powell. But, whether or not he balked at giving that speech, he indeed did give it.

And, he's not retracted what he said that day as of yet.

So, I no longer see Powell as a contender for "leader."

Other than that, excellent song and excellent reference to Obama and women running for president.

3. yeah, I'm not sure about Obama either
My instincts tell me that the love affair with Obama is coming from the top down. Folks at DLC think he has charisma so they're putting the idea out there that Obama could be the next president, without much talk about his beliefs, issues, etc. I have nothing against him; I just don't think we know enough about him to be thinking about him as the next president. Personally I would have rather had him mention Gore running again, than Obama. But I agree, the reference to Powell is not the greatest, although he does throw in there "to right what he's done wrong" after he mentions his name.

2. I also like The Restless Consumer
I love shouting all the "Don't need....." parts really loud. It feels good.
