Govt website gives latest info on VA personal records compromise

Just found this website with info regarding the massive compromise of personal info (including Social Security nbrs, DOB's, etc) after a VA employee took records home without authorization and his home was allegedly broken into .....

The last paragraph provides a toll-free number to call for the latest info. (I wonder if it's in New Delhi?)

The info on the site is just the same old rehashed identity theft advice that's been circulating for years.

You'd think that a government that's working so hard to create more and more vets would see the wisdom in not constantly crapping on them, but you'd be wrong.
