Right wing trash Melanie Morgan apparently at it again with television ads, too, which means there is some real right wing dollars behind this. Sounds like another "whip up the base" dodge by Rove and allies to distract all from the real electoral issues. I don't hate the fact such scum exist, just that they have all the blood money in the world to throw into backing up their hatred and lies.

The more I read of right-wing misdirection like this - picking on a man who left office over twenty-five years ago for no real reason - the less likely I am to ever become a right-winger myself.

I don't know where this stupidity came from, or why they've randomly chosen Carter as their target. All I know is that it smells of desperation.
