I do understand how someone could get weirded out from not knowing what was going on (a horrible thing to do to anyone), but "dangerous levels of THC"?!
No one has EVER overdosed on pot.

3. Didn't ya hear that THC is so deadly that only the drug companies |
|
can dole it out in pill$ for big buck$, rather then let you use the weaker home grown kind. http://www.cnn.com/2006/HEALTH/05/16/pot.pill.ap/index.html

5. How kind of them to want only the best for us! |
|
The entire War on Pot is simply ludicrous. I thought this would be settled by the year 2000 and the idiots would stop hunting tokers.
Too much $$$ to be made, I agree. :hi:

11. I know the cops are cracking down harder on tokers then H |
|
shooters. I have scanners and I hear them talk. "Let's go after the stoners and leave the dopers alone" Wow, someone high up is making a huge profit from those Afghanistan poppies. In NJ it's a 800.00 fine for pot, H gets ya rehab. Unless you are dealing huge amounts of either, then they treat you the same. In the eyes of these idiots pot is a dangerous as dope.

20. It happens here all the time. |

H, coke and meth are rampant, yet there is never a single bust for those drugs, only pot. And it's a very small city, 7500.
It is infuriating that a junkie can pass a drug test the next day. A friend's son (not an addict or toker)was tested just to wash cars at a dealership! Many tokers I know have started their own businesses. And I know too many that had to stop smoking to keep their jobs and are now terrible alcoholics.
I'm sure I read that the opium produced in Afghanistan has increased something like 80% since we went in there. Things that make you go hmmm.
The money wasted to jail smokers could do so much good elsewhere in our society. Rehab for junkies would be cheaper too, but in this twisted society nothing makes sense anymore.
Another thing that gets my ire up is how if you toke you are automatically labeled an abuser, even if you only toke once a month.
I have learned that common sense isn't when it comes to pot(and many other things). Many of the elderly I know feel it should be legal.
I'm with them!

9. Pot Is Eleventy-Million-Billion Times More Potent Than It Was In The '60s |
|
It now must be handled with flame-retardant gloves and other safety gear, otherwise your face could melt off from exposure to it. Really. I heard it on the interweb.

Even though there were no actual joints involved, according to that report, just muffins.
I was hoping the video link would include video of the stoned teachers. Oh well.

16. The task force was stupid |
|
You don't need to have pot as such in the muffins, THC is oil soluble and canna butter shouldn't be too hard to find with a web search. Chronic pain medical users often start their mornings with a muffin and butter. No surprise they didn't find anything but the THC itself.
It was a damned stupid thing to do though, it just feeds the worries of parents about what someone is going to slip their kid. This might seem funny on the surface and their reaction was over the top, but food tampering is a real issue and it did us harm.

Last time I had marijuana brownies, I felt different, but I was not the least bit sick.
What a bunch of wimps.
Terrorists? Weapons of Mass Destruction? Did that FBI guy also have some of these muffins? He is delusional.

An ignorant ass politico here, Sensenbrenner-R from Wisconsin (or senselessbrenner as I call him), wants to put mothers in prison for 10 years if they toke. They don't have to be anywhere near their children.:grr:
Welcome to DU Laha, enjoy the trip!:hi:

15. I ate two or three bites of a pot brownie about 6 years ago and I |
|
thought that I was going to die!
I have smoked a lot of pot in my day but I have never been affected like this. I was pretty much incapacitated for two or three hours. I thought that my heart was going to jump out of my chest, it was beating so fast.
Not a good feeling.

I have no idea how much pot was in these brownies -- enough so you could really taste the pot.
