2. It's a tempest in a teacup.
The people who vote "no" in these things were never going to buy the CD anyway (and I'll bet a lot of them don't ever buy any CDs).

The Dixie Chicks are going to do just fine without Fox News fans.

3. Some of the comments on accessatlanta.com are pretty
terrific in support of the Dixie Chicks and against Dubya.
I'm thinking of buying their new CD, and I don't really like "country" music.

The Dixie Halfwits are of course free to humiliate themselves anytime they wish with their asinine moronic petulance about Bush. Their freedom of speech is not in question. What is seriously problematic is their self absorbed arrogance and rank stupidity. Not because of their now infamous anti-Bush attitides but because all they have EVER done is parrot vacuous leftist slogans. Obviously expecting moderately talented bimboesque entertainers to proffer measured incisive analysis and commentary on the great issues of the day is rather like expecting Shrillary to be even partially honest about each and every shameful Klinton scandal.

I am equally sick of limousine liberal rocknroll/Hollywood plonkers who arrogate to themselves the smug arrogance to presuppose that anyone gives a ** about what their political views might be. I no longer buy cd’s or concert tickets, or pay for cinema tickets being peddled by those who sneer at Bush. Not because of their views, which are of actually little or no consequence, but because they chose to ram their views down my throat on stage, on cd, on TV etc. I simply exercise my right to avoid what I dont like.

Of course its the actual “consequences ” of their Bush sneers that the Dixie Halfwits et al and their liberal apologists object to. The freedom of choice that is equally open to cd buyers, radio playlist compilers and so on. They no more have a right to be played/heard/paid than anyone in the musak industry. Listening to vapid airheads like the Dixie Halfwits on any serious subject is painful for one’s ribs - the unrelenting laughter they induce is good exercise though. Its also rather irritating to behold idiots attempting to hold forth on politics with barely a handful of brain cells between them. The Halfwits, based on the limited TV/press I’ve seen are singularly stupid and inarticulate, some one should actually tell them that.

The Dixie Halfwits have deliberately nurtured this Bush hater image. No one has shouted them down or attempted to intimidate them at their homes with cameras rolling (Secretary Rumsfeld has endured this from far left hate pigs recently). Nor has anyone set up a camp of unemployed/unemployable professional rent a (lefty) rabble losers replete with high profile leftist media coverage close to their home to protest their simpering leftist idiocy. The Dixie Halfwits sure seem like they expect NO ONE will say/do/respond to their politics or seriously criticise them. I sincerely hope this badly damages their careers. Its already had some effect - but sadly not yet enough. Entertainers are there to ENTERTAIN … not pronouce leftist slogans - or rightist dogma!! Robert is absolutely correct - lefties are utterly intolerant and screech about whatever they loathe/oppose - but just let anyone mirror back their intolerance of free speech and they go beserk - just look at the far left blogs and the endless lies/libel etc the far left pinkos peddle!! They are freaking b***. They basically bad mouth our country in another country just to get cheers and approval. I will never ever buy or listen anything from them.

@Tony:

“At least they went, which your fearless leader didnt do.”

Yeah, all except your “hero” Clinton who ran to Oxford chasing “Ox Tail” HAHAHAH!! You pathetic RAT vermin on the left had NO problem with Clintax as your hero up against a REAL WWII hero who just so happened to be the youngest Navy pilot during WWII in the 192 election.

So tell me, exactly WHEN did you candyassed bimbo liberals decide that non-combat service wasn’t important in 1992 yet realize it’s as important as taxation on the successful in 2000?

"What is seriously problematic is their self absorbed arrogance and rank stupidity". :wtf: Bush is the KING of self absorbed arrogance and rank stupidity!

They're projecting again........everything they see in bush and themselves is projected onto others. Talk about stupidity! :grr:

12. They can't even run a poll right! The question has answers of 'more
likely', 'less likely', or 'not sure' as choices. The 'results' are 'yes', 'no' and 'not sure'.

14. KGKL our local Country station asked the listeners...
if they wanted the ban on the Dixie Chicks lifted. They had been off the air since the last incident. They did not 25% of the listeners voting in their favor. Maybe because it is Texas.
