here is the news.
Radical Right Wing Judge, who will change the dynamics of political power for the POTUS to King Status. - The US is pushing the UN to react on Iran, very 2003 - Our Beloved NOLA is dying, but it's okay, bush made a speech today. - They are spying on you, RIGHT NOW. - National I.D. Cards. we can't wait. - Want to run an ad stating things about Tom Delay, not in this America - Alito's wife cried, you had better back off. - Don't be gay - President Lied - Misdirected - President Lied - President Lied - President Lied - Bush to criminalize protesters under Patriot Act as disruptors - Sibel Edmonds, STFU (legally speaking) - Swift Boating of Murtha Planned -
All the while, the media is focus on some guy who wrote a stupid book, and maybe lied in it.
personally I am terrified.
WAKE UP AMERICA!

the bloody balcony on that stinking cruise ship. What this country needs RIGHT NOW is another missing white vacationer. I vote Georgie Junior for the job.

O Canada! Our home and native land! True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise, The True North strong and free!
From far and wide, O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free! O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee

Sorry. I have my TV rigged to explode if CNN is ever on it. I don't get Fux or MSRNC on my Dish package.:P
The other outrages, I agree with you on. Everybody has to be asleep. That's some serious valium in our privatized bottled water we got in this country.

6. It's some Oprah book club author. |
|
He's an addict, he recovered, he wrote a memoir, and made up some stuff. Whatever. Move it from nonfiction to fiction and be done with it. Let's get back to the real news like white phosphorous, black box voting, and dare I say ILLEGAL WIRETAPPING WORTHY OF IMPEACHMENT?
Sorry, rant over.

That's what they said yesterday morning on a news show. Until they decided to shop it as a memoir, nobody wanted the thing. I haven't read it, probably won't. I would say if you took one experience from every drunk in an AA meeting, and compiled it into one person, you'd have a pretty wild book in no time at all!

that majority of the public is on our side but the media is shutting us up because of their corporate owners who are on the side of the GOP because they are in they're in the corporate's owner and it's all about capitalism. Look at all the polls since the Terri Schavio deal since last year. They've constantly been on our side. We're just being told to shut up.

8. Now that we are awake, |
|
How do we get everyone else out of bed? I had this discussion several times over my holiday break, and I was amazed at the number of people who stated:
1) I don't care if they are wiretapping me, I have nothing to hide 2) They MUST have a good reason or they wouldn't be doing it 3) It's nothing that hasn't been going on the whole time. The Dems did it to, we just didn't hear about it.
I wanted to slit my wrists. I told them what do they think the Germans said to themselves as they allowed the Nazis to take away the rights of the Jews? The same effing shit.
Fascism is a short trip away, folks and we are driving over the speed limit.

Calling in the morning thanks to your kindly, and much needed reminders.
NOTE: People are waking-up in my NE neck of the woods. Fed-up to the skies, BUT they don't know what to do.
People are afraid of loosing what lousy jobs they have, and they're overwhelmed with so many scandals. The good news is little ole ladies wanna March to the WH and they're talking about Impeachment over all the clothes lines. But, is it enough?
I dunno...

17. hard for many to wake up when they're fed a steady diet . . . |
|
of lies, half truths, and intentional exclusions of critical events and issues from virtually all US media . . .
what people don't know can indeed hurt them, and badly . . . maybe even terminally . . .

Fed a steady diet of propaganda, Paxil, lies, Prozac, Faux News, Patriotic fervor, Xanex, Valium, Macdonalds, okay SSRI's in general, Obesity feeding / energy sucking fast food, and general misery inducing horror shows about the onslaught of the black and latino crime wave.
the overweight, uninterested, majority is ready to hit their recliners and wait it out, if they ever even figure it out.

24. Paxil, Prozac, Xanax... |
|
A few years ago I was having an online conversaton with a local person. We'd never met, which is weird considering we're both in business in a very small town. But anyway, we were both experiencing the exact same things here, from the exact same people. Suddenly, she pops up one day and says she went to the doctor, got an anti-depressant, and discovered she had been wrong the whole time. Life is wonderful!!! And all these idiots who have been using the city council for their own business benefits, running new business owners out of town, using the cops & other officials to harrass new business, suddenly none of that had ever happened. (Despite the fact that that happens in most towns.) So yeah, paxil, prozac, xanax...
