Would you support separating illegal immigrant parents from their U.S.-born children?

Yes, allowing those parents to stay would only encourage more illegal immigration.
No, the U.S. should revise its policies so families aren't split up.

1. Here's the rub: Some families ARE already split up
Saw one Mexican woman on CNN who snuck over the border and kept trying to bring her kids in (relatives are caring for them). In the end, not only were the kids caught, but so was their mom - all have been sent back to Mexico.

3. We sent Elian back to Cuba, didn't we?

Unless it can be proven at least one biological parent is a U.S. citizen, the children should leave with the illegal parent(s), and can reactivate their citizenship when they turn 18 (provided that they know enough English, have completed high school and don't have a criminal record). And the U.S. would do a much better job of "discouraging" illegal immigration if it dealt with employers who hired them more harshly, actually enforced their border policy, and told Vincente Fox to start solving his own economic problems or else.
