1. Design Our Own Sticky if we want to

That would say more about our beliefs.

10. Just Google "avatars"
to find perfect, 100x100 pixel thumbnails for stickies and/or avatars.

2. A new batch of Senate candidates. Ned Lamont, maybe.
Also newer Dem celebs. Brian Schweitzer. Jan Schneider. Claire McCaskill. Ray Nagin.

And the full list of potential 08 Dem candidates.

It'd be fun to include avatars for Duke Ellington. Bill Moyers. Roberto Clemente. Nina Simone.

I realize we can all upload our own avatars but finding ones we like and then shrinking them...well, it's daunting. I liken it to Sisyphus' shoving that huge stone up the mountain side, only to be told it's too big to upload into the software. It hurts my feelings. I fly into a rage and kick the furniture, the dog, 2 or 3 neighbors, and the mailman.

You know the story.

I'm kind of "challenged" in that area. I have trouble getting mine to format right. I have one that I did, with some help, but have no idea how to do it.

11. In Paintshop Pro, it's the Image -> Resize menu
constrain it to 48 x 48 pixels, save it, you're good to go.

In MS Paint, the menu is Image -> Attributes.

In Photoshop, it's... um... something else. (don't have it on this machine.)

14. I'd be happy to help, if you can wait until latter tonight
I'm at work and don't have any graphics editors. Or, I'm sure someone else could take an image you want and resize it for you.

Still, I like the idea of maybe replacing some of the slush pile avatars with something fresh.
