Thousands confess in NATALIE HOLLOWAY story to finally shut the media up!
There's plenty of middle-class American girls missing; not to mention other children worldwide. Just check those old milk cartons. Maybe after we finally find Natalee Holloway living with a shockingly dark skinned man, her ultra-wealthy parents can gain some closure. Then, maybe on slow news days, we work on old stories, like the Occupation of Iraq and silly stuff, such as elected officials who prove they are above the law.

Anyhow, here's a seriously intended, while very funny blog that appears at the top of a recent Google search.

"At first I didn't understand what I was being offered, and then I didn't believe it. But I've made no secret that I live in New Orleans, and the caller knew of me through one of my writings here -- though I'm sworn not to say just which one.

The neighborhood is in the east, where the power is still only on near the Interstate and the phones aren't on at all. Three weeks of flooding and months of neglect have left the streets buckled and littered with hazards; I drove with a second spare tire in the back seat and, some distance from the nearest sign of re-emerging civilization, found the address I'd been given. There was nothing to set it apart from the others; they were all badly flooded, past the ceiling, and the neighborhood's prospects were so poor that nobody had even bothered to gut the houses and dump their contents on the street for collection. Nobody was collecting, and unlike other neighborhoods nobody knows whether there will be returnees.

Feeling extremely stupid, I knocked on the door. Just as I was ready to go back to my car the front door opened.

At first I didn't recognize her. The skin was deeply tanned, the famous blonde hair cropped short. She was wearing a tank top and loose jeans and tennis shoes, work clothes. Behind her, although it was not apparent from outside, the house had been gutted and cleaned.

'Miss Holloway, I presume,' I said."

1. LET'S START A PETITION TO MAKE THE 9th Ward of N.O. a national memorial
that might restore power and water to the area at least.

3. oh yeah! they live not far from here. I lived in Mountain Brook...
her home town. It's far too expensive for me since I became disabled. It's full of castle-like mansions on estate sized 5-10 acre lots. Real convenient, a short pleasant commute from DT Bham.

4. Faux news is eating this up since the family is very white & very GOP
even went so far as to want to boycott Aruba. If the family is so patriotic then why didn't they go to somewhere in the US and spend their money here. I believe that one of the chaperons had something to do with her being missing. How come they are not held accountable. How much gov't money has been spent so far searhing for her vs. the average missing person.

8. Did you know her BROTHER & COUSIN were on the trip too?
Didn't think so. Family hasn't mentioned it.

Poor Beth is insane after all the stress and her ex-hubs (Nataleeeee's dad) just wrote a damn book about it, so thta's all working out well for him.

10. Didn't know that - not mentioned by the msm - wonder why they
haven't been interviewed by the press. That's right, her dad did write a book about it - is he donating the money to missing people groups or is he keeping it? Also, what about personal responsibility - didn't they teach her not to get drunk with a bunch of strange men & what did they expect when they sent a bunch of teenagers away from home - basically unsupervised. Some of the responsibility falls on them as well. But instead they are blaming someone else... Tragic story all together & is way overblown in the press. One of many distraction issues.

12. Natalee's story boils down to this.
Parents should think twice about letting 17 year olds go off for a week of booze, sex and debauchery in a foreign country.

Sure, those "kids" will be heading off to college where Mom & dad cannot know everything they do, BUT as long as they are still kids in the family home, parents should not sanction trips like that.

There are creepy people everywhere, even in tropical island paradises. Drunk girls are always vulnerable to these creeps, and sometimes they can end up dead.. It's tragic, but it happens.

5. Holloway is another distraction strategy.
"Don't look behind the curtain" Missing white girls, rich or not, serve as perfect subjects for stories to distract the sheeple from the REAL news.

6. i liked the way that blogger worked the 9th ward of NO with the story
nice touch... we need more "leads" linking the girl to New Orleans and maybe a National 9th Ward park to kick off the upcoming storm seasons. let's not overlook a predicted increase tornadoes this year.

11. Geez Louise, don't pick on her family. Blame the vulgar MSM
If my kid went missing, I wouldn't give a rat's ass if the story was on tv 24-7, if I thought that might uncover her fate or bring her home. Her parents have to be out of their minds with grief and anger.

It's our insipid, lazy, exploitative media that has clamped their jaws on this sad story and turned into 'entertainment' for the masses.

14. i know a missing/presumed dead person and her parents
i almost passed out when i saw them appear on Nancy Grace's show, she was all nice to them while they where there, the parents are divorced BTW, after she was done with their part she had a back and forth with a panel and they were pretty brutal on the missing girl, nothing like the tragic sympathetic bio Natalie Holloway gets. I don't blame the parents in either case, the media goes after it and i guess someone is watching it. BTW the person i know went missing in 89, she was a student at The University of Florida, her mother works to educate people, you know fingerprinting their kids and having current photos of them, she hardly ever appears on TV.

16. she's who needs plenty of TV coverage chimpsrsmarter!
"her mother works to educate people, you know fingerprinting their kids and having current photos of them, she hardly ever appears on TV."

Modern media is a battlefield and the liars are winning.

Who wins this "war of ideas" each day depends on bloggers and readers who kick their ideas. If we lose here our troops lose and must stay in Iraq much longer: In many cases, a lifetime. Let's help our combat weary soldiers win by bringing them home. Let's fight to keep the right news in the online forefront.
