Ewww! Emesis Basin Alert! The latest drivel from Chairman Ken Mehlman: |
|
This is from an email I just received. How did I ever get on this list?! :puke:
As you plan your summer road trip, you've had to budget for rising prices at the pump. President Bush is focused on providing practical solutions to energy prices: fair prices at the pump, increased supplies of gasoline, greater fuel efficiency, and new alternative fuels. When it comes to lowering energy costs, all Democrats offer is hot air designed to conceal their long record of supporting higher energy costs for America's families.

For the past 12 years, they've ruled Congress with an iron fist, smashing the repugs into submission ... NOT!
If giving people 100 bucks and telling them to shut up is a "solution" to high energy prices, we're fuck't.

I voted for higher gas prices. It was right there on my ballot, and I did my Democrat duty and voted for it. :sarcasm:

8. Very substantive, Ken. |

Did he just say anything?
We've got the new RW talking point, folks. What we're hearing is code for "it's all because of excessive regulation."
Did regulation of energy industries increase since Bush was elected? Because I think the price of gas has roughly tripled since then.
Of course, the repukes have been pushing for "greater fuel efficiency" and "new alternative fuels" for years, right? If only those petrol-pushing democrats would just get out of the way (like they've stood in the way of ANYTHING the past few year), the repukes would have strengthened the CAFE standards years ago.... :eyes:

And probably expected us to pay it back to boot. Just like the $300-600 checks we didn't want but got anyway.
