They say 9-11 changed everything", and I say...
Edited on Tue May-23-06 02:14 PM by tjwash
..."Yes, that and Katrina are irrefutable proof of the dismal failure of this administration. What other President in history, has not only lost a major American landmark and symbol of the last bastion of Capitalism that the World Trade Center was, but also a major metropolitan city like New Orleans as well?"

They say "Bush is protecting us from terrorism", I say..."Bush is in the pocket of the Saudi Arabian Oil Sheiks who have several links to domestic and international terror, and is also the country where eight of the 9-11 hijackers were from. He also wanted to sell our port security to a group of people with ties to international terrorism and 9-11."

They say "Bush is creating jobs by lowering taxes", I say..."Yes, in India, and Malaysia as they take those billions in tax cuts, and use it to close their factories here and move them to overseas sweat shops."

They say "fight them over there so we don't have to fight them over here" I say "That actually is not that bad an idea, so tell me--how many Iraqis, and Iranians flew airplanes into the World Trade Center towers again?"

They say I support the President because I am a staunch conservative, and I say..."then why the hell are you supporting this group when Conservatism actually means smaller government, less spending, more personal freedom, and less involvement in foreign affairs?"

They say "we need to close off the borders completely, and quit trading with the rest of the world", and I say..."then you are finally starting to notice that we owe more money to foreign governments than ever before, and that we are currently selling our national forests and key assets to keep our heads above water?"

The answers however, are always inevitably the same...."Oh...THAT was all Bill Clinton." :argh: :banghead:

1. If 9-11 'changed everything', then the USA has no past, so the only
things we can discuss is what has happened since then. Therefore, there is no Bill Clinton to blame, only Bushie.

5. There you go, being logical.
Don't you know we're not allowed to use logic or reason since 9/11?

3. It's all in the turn of a phrase, isn't it?
9/11 didn't change anything; it gave them the excuse they needed to change whatever they wanted.

4. It's never their leaders' fault, is it?
So they blame the past five+ years on Clinton? Well, lets bring back the Big Dog and let him fix his mistakes, with a Democratically controlled Congress! I am all for that! "They" are full of shit and "They" can never accept the crap their leaders dump on us all.
