Sterling Burnett is a senior fellow at the National Center for Policy Analysis, an organization that has received over $390,000 from ExxonMobil since 1998. This afternoon on Fox, Burnett compared watching Al Gore’s movie, An Inconvenient Truth, to watching a movie by Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels to learn about Nazi Germany. Watch it:

3. Funny... I watched a PBS documentary of Goebbels last night

And I couldn't get Karl Rove out of my head.

It was amazing how similar the Nazi's blindness to the truth and their self-righteousness mirrored the current regime's.

7. ExxonMobil, Shell, and GM

have a lot of academic experts on their gift list.

• Pimentel & Padzek are on the Shell list - they are academicians who said it takes more energy to make ethanol from corn then you can get out of the resulting ethanol.
  
  
• Lave & Kliet are on the GM list - they have published that hybrids (like the Prius) actually use more gas because hybrid drivers get better mileage -- and therefore the drive many more miles.
