|
http://www.crooksandliars.com/2006/05/23.html#a8404Unbelievable. These guys have no shame. When one of the talking heads started to mention that this guy has been on the payroll of big oil(Exxon) they conveniently have to cut to commercial...

on the Senate floor? I am absolutely apoplectic over this latest volley from the right. Al Gore is playing Paul Revere, warning us all of a potential crisis FOR OUR ENTIRE PLANET, and they pillory him. Unspeakable ...

4. This kind of thing is childish and unproductive. |
|
If they have something substantial against Gore, then please, let us know what it is, otherwise, making comparisons like like that are idiotic.

5. I would love to see Gore |

on Keith's show. Or on The Daily Show. The only problem with being on Johns show is that he wouldnt have much time.

7. Fox needs to be divested |
|
of its media holdings. Period.
I think that the prospect of that sort of accountability happening is one of the reasons that Murdoch is cozying up to Hillary.
After all her Husband sold ALL OF US out with his pathetic FCC and literrally handed what was left of local radio to the far right.
Media re-regulation needs to be agenda item #1 (that is if the Dems ever regain power- which thanks to Bill's pandering to the far right and the media conglomerates, may well never happen).

...of thought control, black arts, and propaganda, is unplug the television. Since the dawn of Madison Avenue to our current ministry of propaganda, it is an instrument of social control, a cathode ray nipple used to culture generations of good consumers ever passive in their politics.
I stopped watching anything besides an occassional episode of CSPAN's BookTV since hearing Paula Zahn cutaway from a pre-war interview of Scott Ritter and babble on about how Scott must've "drunk Saddam's Koolaid".
I mean, what's to watch? This from "We Want Your Soul", a great song by Freeland (Bill Hicks narrates over the music):
go back to bed America your government is in control again - here here's American Gladiators watch this shut up - here's fifty-six channels of it - watch these pituitary retards bang their fucking skulls together and congratulate you on living in the land of freedom - here you go America you are free to do as we tell you - you are free to do as we tell you
