Why did no Democrat ask Alito... |
|
... about the code of silence, about omerta?
Why, huh? Why not? Alito would not answer questions. Alito would not describe the crimes. Why?

3. Alito's 'Confrontation' Hearings =) |
|
I have been watching the hearings since day 1. I do like the way the Democrats asked questions. They were very direct and that is the way it should be. I'm thinking that this will be a very close vote. Alito's wife needs to understand that this was not going to be an easy hearing.

2. Did anyone ask him if he belonged to Opus Dei? |
|
As an arch conservative Catholic in a position of power (3rd circuit appellate court), odds are extremely high he is one of them, as are Scalia and Thomas and everybody's nightmare, Rick Santorum.

4. More importantly: Why do we always find ourselves asking these |
|
questions about the Democrats?
This lack of posing hard questions is not an isolated incident.
