Did they care when we cried? (reposted rant)
Did those bastards care when we cried when they stole the presidential election from us, twice?

Did they care when we cried because the media betrayed us?

Did they care when we cried because they defamed so many capable candidates from running for office? Candidates, by the way, who actually had military records, not like the present chickenhawks who are running this country.

Did they care when we cry every day that we hear that people in this country are being denied medicine because their health insurance changed under the Republican controlled congress?

Did they care when we cry in outrage over the neglect of the Katrina survivors and the fate of the New Orleans culture which may never be resurrected?

Did they care when we cried because we went into Iraq even though we were never convinced that we had grounds for the attack? Did they care when we were later proved right?

If you ask me, nobody in this country gives a damn when a non-Republican cries, but suddenly one privileged white women from the conservative party cries on cue and suddenly we're the bad guys.

Oh, cry me a river. You'd have to shed many monsoon's worth of tears to match what I've cried since 1994.

1. no-win situation
If Hillary or Chelsea cried during the constant attacks on Bill, they'd be portrayed as weak and crybabies (even after Chelsea was called a DOG by Rush).

As it happened, Hillary and Chelsea held up well in public, and were painted (by the complacent MSM) as cold, cruel, and heartless . . .

2. Our problem is that we need to direct our outrage at the media
We need to make it loud and public. What is happening here is exactly what happened with the images during the Katrina disaster. Blacks were viewed as looting, and whites were viewed as finding things.

We should express our outrage that these Republicans should not expect compassion, since they have none to give to others outside their party.
