1. Well, I miss Jon but at least he has a really good reason for
taking off - he actually works for a living. Although, to be fair, Chucklenuts practically writes the show each night for Jon.

On the flip side, can you imagine how screwed up things really would be if The Cabal allowed Chimpy to do a damn thing for himself?

2. Better question might be :
"Who should be on vacation more?"

I, for one, would happily accept more brush clearin' and less politickin' from the chimp.

3. Jon and the Dailey Show
troupe work so hard to bring us the real news with comedic touch that I don't begrudge them their many nights off before and after a National Holiday. :) Kinda like the Europeons.

As for smirkstain..even when he's there he's on vacation.

4. Hmm, a president who is on vacation six months a year or a comedy
central news anchor/host who takes a lot of vacations--which is more appropriate?

5. Jon Has Earned It And Deserves It. To Put Him In The Same Sentence As *
is in poor taste.

6. Jesus.....what can I say, tastemeister? how bout this?
Jon Stewart thinks Bush is a complete idiot; a puppet, a tool of big money and the Carlyle Group.

how does that work for ya?

8. Yeah but we pay Bush's salary
Jon Stewart has to earn his by bring in the viewers. Bush is no longer bringing in the numbers but he still gets paid.

9. I guess my feathery light touch isn't as effective as I'd hoped.
was supposed to be mildly amusing comparison

perhaps replace "mildly" with "-un"

must've been channelling Richard Cohen

16. Or David Letterman
I get sick of seeing "original airdate" whenever I get his weekly guest list. I love watching him though.
