6. Where will we start..?
Start where you live. Find and support candidates who think like you. If you can't find one, be one. Tell the truth, don't hide your faults, don't fall into the "negative campaign" trap. Care about others. Be fair. Don't run for re-election... instead find two kore candidates who think like you and support them.

7. when people use to talk of having the blue parts of the country
succeed and combine with Canada, the thought was a pleasant one.

12. That works for me, except for Alaska. Jesusland would turn it
into a chilly version of Houston if they had their druthers.

9. We've already got one
And it's been stolen from us. Do you want to help us get it back? Or do want to let the criminals walk away with it?

15. I'm with you,
we already have one, hard won, forged in the Enlightenment, surviving the world's bloodiest civil war, and guaranteed by our constitution.

They have usurped it.

There is NO place for religion in government.
And corporations should NOT write laws.

Now, how do we get it back?

10. You have to get on a boat and go west
or get a whole mile long trail led by horses and oxen going. Then you have to kill the people that already live on the new land, and bring in some slaves because there aren't enough people in the new country to do all the work that civilization requires. It just gets messy.

Plus it's been done to death, and here we are today.

13. Bad, bad idea
Bad idea under Lincoln, bad idea now. First off, such a split would lead to further Balkanization of this continent in the future. Second, how would you determine the distribution of communal propterty, military resources, civilian resources, etc. Case in point, the Hoover dam, which while being in red state Colorado, supplys blue state California with most of its water. Third, how would you divide up the debt? Fourth, it would weaken both subsequent countries radically, both economically and militarily. Fifth, given the bullying nature of the RW residents of the hypothetical RW country, how long before this continent would be involved in a brutal, possibly nuclear war.

Sorry, but this is a horrible idea that while it sounds great, noodling around in one's head, falls apart when you start having to work out the nuts and bolts of the proposition. Rather, let us take back this entire country from the fascists and corporatistas and return all of America to our former greatness.

16. Hoover dam is on Nevada/Arizona border, controls Colorado river.
It is only a little ways outside of Las Vegas, NV.

However, I agree with the ideas expressed in your post.

17. Ooops, damn geography
Still, a red state resource that is used by a blue state. How would we decide that and the many others like it?

18. They hate America so much, why don't they go start their own country?
They've already stolen enough money to buy one and they can be assured in their new country that no one will be gay  no one will have an abortion  everyone will worship the same "God" everyone will want to be protected from the evil doers :scared: :hide: Yeah let them start their own country, the sooner the better. :bounce:
