Poll question: Most characteristic Republican attribute?
I'm in SC. Since we're now pretty much a one-party Republican state, as against the old days when we were a one-party (in name only) Democratic state, the primaries are the big battleground. And we get to enjoy an endless flow of commercials where cleancut liars tell the camera about their conservative values and their love for the ordinary taxpayer and blah blah blah blah. Occurs to me that with all or nearly all of the money in the media in the other side's pocket, we need a simple message that could go up on flyers everywhere to help Joe Everybody filter out all this bullshit and maybe remind them of the reality they live in everyday. So pick one:

(Just writing the poll I find that my vocabulary isn't sufficient to encompass their evil. I look forward to the Other replies.)

Maybe the simplest thing would be flyers reading only: Republicans hate ______
filling the blanks with:
you
blacks
gays
workers
immigrants
the poor
New Orleans/ Louisiana/ the Gulf Coast
America
the World

I think the thing I'm calling a flyer is actually a waybill, but when was the last time you heard anyone say waybill? (As in "Post no bills.")

4. Your average GOP voter: Incurious, always hopping mad about something
The politicians are another story. But the average Republican voter? Think someone is trying to "get" them, take something away from them. Incurious. Sees everything in black and white. Quick to hop on a bandwagon.

11. Maybe. Anyway "Republicons" is the first alternate spelling for
Republicans that I can get behind. Love it!

As to cusswords and Republicans, can I ever relate! I usually have to trot out a dozen or so just to get the rage down to levels that allow me to write in complete sentences.

13. Republicans seriously believe that
poor people are poor because of some character defect, and rich people are rich because they are better than everyone else.
