Nobody epitomizes this Administration moreso than Ken Lay and Jeff Skilling. And now, they are going to jail. After 5 long years, we finally get a verdict. This is the same "Kenny Boy" that supplied the corporate jet and funded the Inaugaration Party for George W Bush. And Dubya says he barely knew him. Kenny who? Remember?

And now these two crooks have been found guilty. They are the two dominoes that have protected the long line and now they are falling. Look for more to follow.

4. I don't see it that way

The time for for getting information out of those two is now over. You claim that they are protecting others. If so, why would they talk now? Now they have been sentenced and their only hope is a presidential pardon. I seriously doubt if they would jeopardize that by spilling the beans on those they are protecting...

More over, I've always pointed out that the Ebbers/Lay scandals pissed off Republicans far more than Democrats. You see, those two (and all the others) commited the ultimate sin: they stole from other rich people. It's ok to steal from the little people, but the minute you start lying about your earning reports you are screwing the millionaires that make up the bulk of the stock owners in this country. Fuck with those people and they will screw you to the wall.

By "protecting", I did not mean to say that Lay and Skelling have any information on other criminals. But they may be the first to fall. They were the First Criminals of this Administration. This is a big, big story.

By protecting, they were the first that were fighting indictments and convictions and now their dominoes have fell. That does not bode well for the other criminals waiting in line, imo...
