1 hour since the verdict-Have they got their talking points yet?
They haven't even asked about it at the White House press conference.

I read elsewhere that Fox is reporting on Idol as the lead story.

Rush had NOTHING about it for the first 20 minutes.

How about MSRNC and CNN????

The silence is deafening.

2. No press briefing today. They cancelled it to get their talking points
the link on whitehouse.gov is from Tuesday.

I guess they don't want to deal with the Enron mess today.

8. My mistake it is the press conf. from yesterday

So do you think they are actually burying their heads in the sand or just downing whole bottles of liquor to make it go away?

10. I believe the RW media - all media - get the fax at 2pm - so it will

another hour

then we will learn not guilty until appeal rights are exhausted

confused jury,

not really a crime

every business manager does some of it

they deserve a pardon

run away DA

just trying to get Bush because confused over Iraq and they knew they were friends of Bush

Doesn't matter because Bush didn't even know them.

MY FAVORITE: the Enron scandal happened on Clinton's watch and Bush is cleaning it up.

jury hated Bush/GOP because no rich folks were on jury

He was tried in the media - so unfair trial

Who cares/who remembers - we need to look to the future, not worry about the past

Do you really want liberals running the government and putting gays in your living room and aborting your daughters fetus? Besides they do no know how to run a war or fight terrorists because they will let you be killed in the name of not violating some terrorists civil rights.

I could not believe they would try it -

but I guess their base - and the media - will buy anything the GOP is selling!

14. I don't know about that but....
....I noticed something that seemed odd to me. I was watching CNN and it was just after the guilty verdicts of Skilling and Lay. But on the crawl at the bottom of the screen it said something like Skilling not guilty of insider trading!!

It just seemed odd to me. I mean both of these guys had been declared guilty on something like 35 counts each and yet CNN thinks insider trading is the bigger story.

18. Ken Lay slept in the Clinton White House and served as an adviser to the Clinton White House on energy issues. Source: Drudge Report <---that has already been completely debunked as BS.
