Google: same query, different location, different results. |
|
I'm trying to find out why identical Google queries return substantially different results on the West Coast vs. the East Coast.
Can anyone suggest a discussion group or other resource I can use to investigate this problem?
Thanks, Crikkett

1. I don't know about that, but here is an example of what google does. |

Search for Tiananmen Square and then search for "freedom".
First do it at www.google.com. Remember to search images. Then try the same thing at www.google.cn

2. I think Google adds your past searches into a history and that is why |
|
you get different results. From one computer to the next ... a google search is different.
Does that help?
