the Lay news? Wonder no longer.

It's a shamed that the Texas Governor at the time wasn't able to to crack down on Enron at the time - you would think that a state would be able to revoke the charter of a criminal corporation. Clintoon must have forbidden that governor to take action.

14. I'm counting on the latter ...
A pardon may or may not materialize - but a deal done quickly now could reduce his sentence, get him a better facility, etc.

This could be Abramoff all over again ...

He can pin the plans for the invasion of Iraq on the neocons, before 9/11 ever happened.

28. I KNOW!!! This could be HUGH!1!
Lay was also connected to the ouster of Gray Davis in California - met with Ahnold and the GOP gang during the campaign.

Lay probably knows where a lot of bodies are buried that we DON'T even have a clue about right now. Probably has enough info to reduce his prison time by A LOT!!!

Gosh, his name escapes me right now. Total zero. Real common name, like Bill or George (anything but Sue). Hmmmmm. Think, think . . .

that SKilling and Lay were convicted for crimes that occured in 2000...So let's go with their idea, that the President ordered the Governor not to act.

17. Enron, Dubya, Clinton, And Freeperstani Memory Wipes
Of course the Freeperstanis have had their memories carefully scrubbed so that they'd not only forget that then-Texas Governor George W. Bush rented out the entire Texas Governor's Mansion not once, not twice, but three times, and that Republican presidential aspirant and candidate George W. Bush did his 2000 Presidential campaigning as often as not from Enron corporate jets, and that Enron pumped huge sums into our current Dear Leader's campaign.

So naturally, the Freeperstanis would blame former president Clinton.

Hey, Freepers!

Blow it out your Star-Spangled turbans!
