It seems like there is at least one bank robbery or
gas station robbery every day here. Home invasions seem to be a daily occurrence here. What about your town? Do you think there is an uptick, or am I noticing it more now? Can this be a seasonal thing?

4. Those are hit and run types. It's people that rob banks in their
home town who get busted in short order.

3. it is a feedback loop
republicanism leads to increased poverty, poverty leads to desperation, desperation causes crime, crime causes calls for law and order, excessive law and order leads to a police state, a police state gives republicans more power...

5. Yes, Master Yoda
you are exactly correct.
Especially with the part about how Republicanism leads to increased poverty...and poverty leads to desperation...and desperation leads to crime.

How much ya wanna bet that the junkie who holds up a 7-Eleven with a switchblade for 50 bucks and a Mars Bar gets more time than Kenny-boy Lay does?

How much ya wanna bet the welfare mom who steals a little food to help feed her starving family gets more time than Kenny-boy Lay?

Why do the rich NEVER pay their fair share, and why do they NEVER serve their just punishments?!?!

Fucking Kenny-boy will get 6 months in a Federal country-club, if that, and Bushie with pardon him.
