Williams' Bond Set At $500

The suspected driver of a stolen car involved in a crash that killed a 12-year-old boy and seriously injured two others could be back on Central Florida streets as early as Thursday night, according to a Local 6 News report.

Eric Clemons, 12, was killed in a collision on Lenox Boulevard, just off Raleigh Street Wednesday night when the driver of a stolen Thunderbird slammed into a car he was riding in with his teacher and a classmate.

"All three of them, police say, are the victims of 20-year-old Anthony Williams -- a suspected drug dealer who was trying to run from police," Local 6 reporter Jessica Sanchez said in an earlier report.

Based on Williams' extensive criminal history, some law officials believe he should have been given a higher bond.

"At last check, no bail bondsman in town was willing to give Williams the money to help him go free," DeForest said.
